Emma Rose

Mandy had her baby! It was amazing being there when her baby was born. She is so pure and the light of God shines so bright in her eyes!

I got to St. Marks hospital at 3:30 p.m and Mandy was just getting the epidural. I went into the delivery room with Mandy’s mom and her sisters. Mandy was having contractions and even thought she got the epidural she was having pain in her kidneys. She was so brave and did a great job delivering. Austin was so supportive all the way through the labor and he made my heart swell with gratitude. His treats her so tenderly and she deserves nothing less. :)
There baby girl was born at 8:00 p.m. She weighs 7.2 pounds and 19”inches. Mandy was pushing and pushing and it felt like it would never end. The first doctor said it was normal for the first baby to take 1 to 2 hours to push out. It was about 2 hours of pushing. Mandy was so tired and happy when her baby girl come out :) I will never forget the doctors handing Mandy her little baby. She’s going to be an amazing mommy because she has a good heart. We were all crying and it was so beautiful. They named her Emma Rose Huffman. She’s our little rose bud :)
